Spotted in the South

I wanted to come up with something that can be used everyday to remind others of how early detection of cancer is so important. I am here because of early detection and most of all because of God. The first subject is my destructive dog named Sassy. She is loved so much that her destruction is tolerated. Sassy brings the awareness to early detection of breast cancer. Watch for items that will be available soon and help support making awareness seem everywhere. So I haven’t even got this up and going as I’m thinking about the next subject. Something that sparked an idea for me was to hold a contest for the next subject. What do you think would be a good idea? I am contemplating on having a contest that would discover our next awareness subject. Show us your Spotted in the South pet and what issue you would have them support.

Please take the time to schedule a mammogram.

Tell those close to you to schedule theirs also and make a day of it. Go grab some food and drinks then celebrate one less thing done on your list.

Tickled Pink to help

What is Positive Pink Proud? Well I started out as Positive Pink Passion. During the first year, I would sometimes get these crazy looks, or talking to a supplier, they would ask, “so what exactly do you sell?” lol I soon realized that the word passion may not of been the best choice of a word for the name of a store. The original name held the meaning to be positive about the pink and be passionate to pray for a cure. What people really thought was the pink and passion meant something far different than promoting cancer awareness. So at the end of the year, I changed the name to Positive Pink Proud. That gave positivity to the pink and to be proud to pray. After all, good docs and most of all the hand of God is the reason I’m here today. So how can you promote awareness for cancer for times other than the assigned month it was given? Everyday things that just might spark that thought of making an appointment to be screened, or make an individual aware of feelings they had been ignoring. Everyday things that are affordable and trendy. That ribbon being seen other than just during their assigned month. So browse the website, or come by the store, every purchase gets the store closer to helping a cancer patient in need.
